Introduction to Academic Culture in North America

Once you set out to study in a different country, you dive into a new world full of new rules and practices. When it comes to academia, it is a whole another world presenting its own unique challenges and opportunities. This workshop aims to help you familiarize yourself with the academic culture in North America and navigate the “academic underlife” successfully. It will open new ways of seeing and understanding the academic world and its basic tenets.
