‘The Weather Underground’ (2002) Screening and Q&A with Bill Siegel
5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.401 Terry Ave N, Suite 103
Bill Siegel, director of The Weather Underground (2002), will be visiting the Northeastern University’s campus in Seattle to host a screening of his Academy Award-nominated documentary, as well as lead a 30-minute Q&A following the 90 minute film.
The Weather Underground is a documentary about a group of student activists who announced their intention to overthrow the United States government during the midst of the Vietnam War–by any means necessary. Former members of one of America’s most notorious radical movements finally spoke candidly about how they “brought the war home,” eluding one of the largest manhunts in FBI history.
