Your Guide to Northeastern University Seattle’s Fall Open House

You’re ready to advance, accelerate, or switch your career entirely. You’ve researched the benefits of graduate school, determining that a master’s degree program will be the most effective way to progress. Or, perhaps you haven’t gotten quite that far yet and are interested in learning how a graduate degree could provide you with more career opportunities. Wherever you are in your journey, an open house can help you take the next step.
On Oct. 17, we will open our campus doors during our Fall Open House. Before joining us for this free event, learn how to get the most out of attending.
The Benefits of Coming to the Northeastern University Seattle Open House
Stopping by the event is about much more than seeing the physical environment where you’ll learn (although that’s part of it). It’s an opportunity to bring the programs you’ve read about online to life and to help determine if Northeastern is the right fit for you.
You will have the opportunity to meet various members of the university community. Engaging with these faculty members, current students, and advisors will give you a more informed idea of graduate degree options and essential real-life details. There’s no better way to know if a program is right for you than hearing from students already going through the courses.
At Northeastern University in Seattle, we believe education is holistic. That’s why we offer a range of student services, including everything from co-op and career advising to wellness support and student interest groups to support you on your academic journey. Open House will offer an opportunity for you to discover student support resources as well as experiential learning – a cornerstone of Northeastern’s educational philosophy.
How to Prepare for an Open House
A little bit of preparation goes a long way. To start, you should register for the event. Registration takes just a few minutes, and it allows us to better provide you with the information you need.
Give yourself plenty of time to arrive on the day of the drop-in event. The event window is two hours (from 5 to 7 p.m.). You can arrive anytime and stay as long as you need to get to know the university, spend time in the classrooms, and interact with faculty, staff, and students.
Remember, it’s okay not to know everything, and it’s also great to come with a list of questions you want answered.
